Hi.. this is Sarah giving an update. I was up with Schuyler and Sam all night and both did so well. My parents were getting discouraged cause Schuyler had a really bad night Saturday and they were really worried. Schuyler, although awake alot, was very cooperative and after I prayed with him once he reached up and gave me a hug!! It was such a blessing. We are slowly figuring out ways to communicate, but keep praying for that cause it often gets really frustrating and Schuyler gets really angry. He is currently just about to go into surgery for his pelvis.
Samuel has been communicating alot more, and lastnight he slept through the night. He still wakes up very afraid at times.. so pray for peace in his heart. He is really confused and needs comfort. Last I heard the surgery on his urethra is going to be for tomorrow, and they found that he also has torn ligaments in his neck which will have to be fused together.
Both Sam and Schuyler are off their ventilators and are breathing on their owns. Praise God!!
I've heard of many many people that coming up today and I want to thank each and every one of you. And even the ones not coming.. thank you for your prayers. :)
We love you all!! God Bless! ~Sarah

Dear Sarah,
Thank you for your posts. You have such a gracious way about you.

Sarah,
Thank-you for the update. I checked a couple of times today to see if there was news. Let your family know that we continue to pray for healing for the boys and strength for all of you.

Dear Binions and Robinsons,
I keep checking every so often to hear of their progress. I praise God for all of the love that I have seen poured out from the community. Love that may have been hidden from view to so many. Now it is visible. Christ has become tangible and real to people that may not have been able to grasp his exhistence. Love, that may have fallen out of view to some that have been confused, maybe even doubtful has been brought before their eyes once again. Now God can bring victory.
A terrible storm has hit us and the rain keeps falling. My Gram always told me that the only reason the Indian Rain Dance works is because they dance until it rains. We're not in a shortage of rain but know that your family in Christ will be just as fervent in prayer to our Savior as the Indians were to bring the rain.
I love you all.
In Christ,
Katrina
Karin and Gaylin, I heard last night from Eric Leisner what happened to your 2 sons. My heart goes out to you. My love reaches out to you across the miles. My prayers ascend to heaven for you and your precious boys. My favorite verse of Scripture is Isaiah 41:10 where the Creator of the universe says to us (to you): "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." May the loving and sustaining presence of God that He promises there be strongly felt by you in the days to come and may you see His miracles unfold before your eyes each and every day.
--Pastor Meyer (your former pastor, now in Salem, IL)
P.S. This blog is a wonderful testimony to the faith of the Henningsen/Binion family and a great witness to all who visit it.
Dear Sarah,
I am one of your cousins on your dad's side of the family.
I thank God for your updates daily. It really helps with knowing how the boys and your parents are doing. Just know that I pray for you and your family every day so that you will have the strength to get through this.
I have been paying extra attention to your grandma and grandpa Binion right now as they need the extra love. They really want to be there with your mom and dad.
God bless you and your family.
