Hi Everybody... This is karin and shelby- news on schuyler and sam...Schuyler is stable and is still sedated. he will have his surgery probably on monday. the doctors did a ct exam on schuyler earlier today and found out he also has some broken ribs. Seems irrelevant compared to his other injuries.
Sam still needs your prayers...he is in the process of being weaned from sedation so the doctors can check his brain responses. We are worried when he wakes because he is very agitated and tries to pull out his breathing tubes and all the wires etc. He seems to be scared and confused when he wakes. The doctors found today that he also has a torn ureter.
Keep praying for our family and thank you for all the support already shown to us. We really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for posting the blog. You are precious! Katrina, on thurs. I found out "who" was possibly in the accident, I was frantic, finally remembered "aunt joyce", got in contact with her, she confirmed it being Karin & Gaylins boys...and she shared the website with me. Bless her! I only wish I could do something, anything to help. Wish I could just be there to wrap my arms around my lifelong special friend Karin. It truly breaks my heart to know these precious boys are in so much pain. As a mother, I can't imagine Karin and Gaylins pain and fear. I am praying for strength for Karin & Gaylin and your special family. As well as the Robinsons. I pray God give the Dr.s the knowledge and talent to help put these precious boys back together. I pray for Schulyer and Sam in hopes very soon they will be on the road to recovery. May god bless you all as you "weather the storm" and Give you strength when you feel you have no more. Your family is in our hearts, our prayers. Please give my love to Karin & Gaylin as well as your whole family. I'll anxiously await updates....thank you so much for making it possible for us to follow the boys progress. God Bless you and yours.

Dear Karin and Family,
Heard the good news about Sam. I will be praying through the night...every time i wake up or roll over. I'll be on here first thing in the morning to check to see if there is something i can do or if there are new prayer requests.

You have been in our prayers all week. I can't even begin to imagine what you are all going through. I do know that you have VERY special
family group. When I try to explain it to my friends, I can't. I usually end up saying, "You would just have to see for yourself!" I'm not trying to put you guys on a pedestal, but what your family has is very rare and I know with the help of God and each other you will make it through this trying time. I will say extra prayers this weekend as you endure the services for Dan. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
